The Cheney Cardinals and Clearwater Indians track and field teams have no new results to report this week. Cheney went to Kingman on Tuesday; results were not available at press time.

The Eisenhower Tigers and Goddard Lions baseball teams renewed their crosstown rivalry last Tuesday with a doubleheader. The Lions took the opener 9-3, then took the second game 5-3 for the sweep.

The Goddard Lions and Eisenhower Tigers softball teams renewed their rivalry on the diamond last Tuesday at Goddard by splitting a doubleheader. The Lions won the opener 4-3 in 11 innings, but Eisenhower took the nightcap 9-8.

Teams swim at Campus

The Campus Colts and Eisenhower Tigers swim teams took part in a 14team meet on April 14 in Haysville. Campus battled Derby at the top of the standings.

Colts take second at Wichita Collegiate

The Campus Colts boys tennis team went to Wichita Collegiate last Tuesday for a tournament and tied Valley Center for third with seven points. The host Spartans won the event with 11 points, while Wichita East was second with eight.

Tigers keep winning

Eisenhower gave up just one goal in two games last week, beating Hutchinson 3-1, and then topping Derby 2-0 for the Tigers’ eighth straight win..
