TSnews The Andale-Garden Plain softball team will have a deep pool of experience back when it takes the field this spring. Leading the way are hurlers Clare Krier, Lexi Brasser and Jayna Lies, giving head coach Erin Carney some solid options in the circle.

TSnews The Garden Plain Owls girls and boys track teams have a long history at the top of the Central Plains League, and they want to maintain that history. The biggest potential hurdle to league and regional titles is the Cheney Cardinals team, which is in its final season of competition in the CPL.

TSnews With several bats and most of its pitching staff returning, the Andale-Garden Plain baseball team has a good chance to improve on last spring’s 10-17 record. Seniors Patrick Keehn, Caden Fowler and Greyson Winter, plus sophomores Jarod Flax, Noah Stanley, Austin Bugner, Cruz Kaiser and Easton Rieger are all back on the pitching staff “We will be experienced on the mound,” Andale-GP coach Adam Krol said.

TSnews The Conway Springs Cardinals track and field team will feature several girls with State experience. Delaney Jones will be one of the leaders for the girls.

TSnews The Conway Springs Cardinals boys tennis team enters the 2026 season with a roster split right down the middle — four experienced returners and four freshmen ready to learn the ropes. Leading the way are seniors Eli Benge and Joseph Beck, who paired up in doubles last season and placed 10th at the Class 3-2-1A State tournament.

TSnews The Conway Springs-Argonia Reds baseball team looks to take the next step in building its program as it enters year four of existence. Leading the way is the Reds’ starting rotation, all of which returns from last season – seniors Jase Downey and Nolan Warren, plus sophomores Gabe Tarrant and Koy Ast.

TSnews The Conway Springs-Argonia Reds softball team returns a solid core as it looks to build on a 13-13 record from last season. Returning for the Reds are a trio of seniors who have been a part of the program from the beginning – pitcher/first baseman Macie Hartman, catcher/infielder Reece Johnson and infielder Tori Morrison.

TSnews The Clearwater Indians softball team has made a habit of going to the Class 4A State tournament. The Indians are hoping to continue that habit this spring with several returnees back from last season’s squad which took fourth at State, including the team’s top two pitchers.

TSnews The Clearwater Indians baseball team returns the bulk of its pitching staff as it seeks to build on a 15-12 record last season. “We return 85 percent of our innings on the mound from last year,” Clearwater coach Jess Tracy said.

TSnews A new era is underway for the Clearwater Indians girls track team. The Indians begin this season without the onetwo punch of Madison Williams and Kenzy Artor, who together dominated the Class 4A hurdle races the past few years.
