Two Tigers take fifth at State

Body TSnews The Garden Plain Owls wrestling team will send a pair of wrestlers to State after placing two in the top three at last Saturday’s Class 3-1A regional at Eureka. “I’m very proud of all the Garden Plain wrestlers this season,” Garden Plain coach Travis Daerr said.

Lions win regional, send 11 to State

Body TSnews The Goddard Lions boys wrestling team took a huge step toward winning its ninth State wrestling title in the last 10 years last weekend when it won the Class 5A West regional in Arkansas City and qualified 11 wrestlers for the State tournament.

Body TSnews The Clearwater Indians boys wrestling team will send a pair of wrestlers to State after they each finished third at last Saturday’s Class 4A regional at Andale. Representing the Indians at State will be Dylan Hanna (138 pounds) and Cooper Woodruff (285).
