Body TSnews The Clearwater Indians improved upon last year’s third-place performance at the 4A State track and field meet, scoring 64 points and placing second this year. In many years, 64 points is enough to win a State championship.

Body TSnews The Eisenhower Tigers baseball team got off to a strong start at last week’s Class 5A State tournament, but ultimately could not sustain that start on the way to a fourth-place finish.

Body TSnews Micah Johnson had the best boys’ finish at last weekend’s Class 5A State track and field meet, hled at Wichita State University. He placed third in the 100 meters with a time of 10.84.

Body TSnews The Cheney Cardinals track and field team performed well at the Class 3A State meet, bringing home 10 medals. The girls captured the most medals, with seven.

Body The Campus Colts brought home a pair of medals from last weekend’s Class 6A State track and field meet, held at Wichita State University’s Cessna Stadium.

Body TSnews The Eisenhower girls and boys track teams garnered a nice handful of medals in the Class 5A competition at the State track and field meet, which took place at Wichita State University last Friday and Saturday. The girls garnered a total of four medals.

Body TSnews The Conway Springs Cardinals captured four medals at the Class 2A State track and field meet, held at Cessna Stadium last Friday and Saturday. Zach Johnson had the highest finish, earning the lone boys’ medal for the Cardinals.

Body TSnews The Campus Colts could get nothing going against Washburn Rural in last Wednesday’s Class 6A regional semifinal and lost 6-0. Emily Dice, Rylie Miller, Kylah Parso and Gabi Stauffer had the Colts’ lone hits in the loss.
