Cardinals head to substate as top seed

TSnews The Cheney Cardinals boys basketball team wasted little time in taking care of the Douglass Bulldogs in last Friday’s 82-29 win on Heart to Heart winter homecoming night. The Cardinals got out to an 8-0 team, thanks in part to three straight steals.

Owls win big at Kingman

TSnews The Garden Plain Owls boys basketball team notched a big win at Kingman last Friday, beating the Eagles 52-24. The Owls’ defense kept the Eagles grounded for much of the game, taking a 29-13 lead at halftime.

Tigers girls best Lions

TSnews The Eisenhower Tigers girls basketball team played at Goddard on Tuesday, Feb. 11, and came home with a 51-38 win.

Lions hold off Lady Colts
