Body HAYSVILLE – The Haysville Community Library has an opening on its board of directors. The library meets at 7 p.m.

Body CHENEY – The monthly potluck at the Cheney Senior Center will take place on Tuesday at the center, 516 N. Main. Food tables are set up at 5:50 p.m., and dinner begins at 6 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring a side dish or dessert.

Body TSnews GODDARD – Friday night is fall homecoming at Goddard High School. The homecoming ceremony is slated to take place at 6:30 p.m.

Body 8 Years Ago Campus High School graduate Marissa Sullivan spoke up after students disrupted a Kansas State University pre-game football ritual Saturday. When students started a vulgar chant, the K-State marching band stopped playing, in the middle of the “Wabash Cannonball.
