Haysville PD’s Hyle graduates

Body HAYSVILLE – The 358th Basic Training Class graduated from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center (KLETC) on June 12. The graduates took the oath, received their diplomas and celebrated the completion of months of rigorous training.

Cheney home destroyed by fire

Body One hurt, pets perish in weekend blaze in Back 9 CHENEY – A family from Cheney is working to rebuild their lives after a fire raged through their home early Saturday morning.

Non-emergency number

Body Sedgwick County will operate a non-emergency number for fireworks complaints. It is meant to receive calls for non-emergency nuisances that do not pose a threat to life or property. This includes fireworks complaints, parties and excess noise. The line will operate from 6 p.m.
