SEDGWICK COUNTY – The death of Ian Alexander Shelton, whose body was recovered from Lake Afton earlier this year, has been ruled an accident. That is the determination from the Sedgwick County Regional Forensic Science Center, which filed its final autopsy report on March 19 in Sedgwick County District Court.

ARGONIA – The City of Argonia received $141,800 in loan assistance. It had requested $271,600.

Several local Easter egg hunts this weekend will kick off the egg-hunting season. The Clearwater Recreation Commission is holding two different egg hunts on Saturday, at different times and targeted at different audiences.

SUMNER COUNTY – Sumner County Farm Bureau will host a legislative update with Kansas representatives and senators. The gathering will take place on April 4 at Cowley College- Sumner County in the Short Education Center, room 113, at 2208 Davis-White Loop in Wellington.
