Wetta Farms’ history dates back to Grant administration
TSnews ANDALE – Brian Wetta’s family farm has a history dating back to not long after the Civil War – all the way to 1876. That history of 150 years earned Wetta Farms recognition as a Sesquicentennial Farm at the Sedgwick County Farm Bureau annual meeting recently.

8 Years Ago Haysville West Middle School’s mascot is the gorilla, and the school definitely has gorilla pride. The school’s parent-teacher organization purchased a large gorilla statue, dubbed Gregory the Gorilla, that stands in front of the school.
Homecoming set for Garden Plain High
GARDEN PLAIN – This Friday, Garden Plain High School will crown its fall homecoming king and queen. Coronation will take place before the Owls’ football game against the Halstead Dragons. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m.

GODDARD – This Friday will be homecoming night at Eisenhower High School. Coronation and the game will take place at Goddard District Stadium.
Clearwater crowning to take place Friday
CLEARWATER – It’s homecoming week at Clearwater High School, and the fall homecoming queen and king will be crowned on Friday night. This year’s queen candidates are Brylie Christiansen, Noemi Downs, Taryne Fisher and Alaina Smith.
