TSnews CHENEY – The newest Jump Start convenience store appears to be coming to Cheney. The company is taking over the former SQRL location on Main Street, across the street from Cherry Oaks Golf Course.

WICHITA – The Sedgwick County Sheriff ’s Office is investigating the death of an 80-year-old Goddard man Thursday, April 30, at the Sedgwick County Adult Detention Facility. The inmate was pronounced dead at 7:54 a.m.

TSnews GODDARD – Goddard residents can look forward to another restaurant coming to town in the next 18 months. The Goddard City Council at its meeting Monday approved a development agreement with Paradise Corner LLC to build a 20,000 square foot commercial strip center at the southeast corner of Main Street and US-54 Highway.

TSnews CLEARWATER – A Clearwater man died on April 29 from what authorities are describing as an accidental shooting. The man has been identified as Cody Shane Spencer.

TSnews On Saturday, Conway Bank will officially become The First Security Bank. The two Kansas-based banks announced in December that they would merge, with The First Security Bank continuing as the surviving bank.
