Library hosts Haysville Chamber

TSnews HAYSVILLE – Members of the Haysville Chamber of Commerce were guests of the Haysville Community Library during the Chamber's April meeting on April 18. A free lunch was provided by the Friends of the Haysville Library, an organization that raises funds that purchase new books and materials for the library.

City has been busy with park upgrades

McDaniel earns scholar-athlete award

CHENEY – Twelve Kansas high school senior football players have been selected by the Coach Bill Snyder Family/Sunflower Chapter of the National Football Foundation as 2023-24 scholar-athletes as a result of their performance on the field, in the classroom and through school and community involvement.

K-State hands out Alumni Club scholarships

Sixty-one Wichita area students have been awarded scholarships to Kansas State University totaling $49,750. The scholarships were awarded on April 8 by the Wichita Area K-State Alumni Club, K-State Alumni Association, Compton Family Endowment, McCandless Family Endowment, Vanguard Endowment, the Ed Frey and BJ Wells Family, the Schawe Family and the Trumble Family/Baird Private Wealth Management. Fifty-three of those students were awarded alumni scholarships.

GODDARD – Eisenhower Middle School is hosting a sports information night for EMS and Discover Intermediate School students who will be in seventh or eighth grades in the fall and are interested in sports. The event will be at EMS.
