Blasi represents Kansas Senate District 26, which covers most of western Sedgwick County including the cities of Cheney, Clearwater, Garden Plain and Goddard, as well as Andale, Colwich and parts of Maize.

TSnews CONWAY SPRINGS – The City of Conway Springs is striking a deal with Wellington Fire and EMS to take over the Conway Springs Emergency Medical Service. The Conway Springs City Council approved an agreement with Wellington at its meeting on Tuesday night.

Starting in March, the Conway Springs EMS will be run by Wellington Fire and EMS, following the approval of an agreement between the two cities.

TSnews HAYSVILLE – Twenty-two years ago this summer, Aubrey Kennedy visited Walt Disney World, thanks to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Kennedy, who hails from Haysville, was diagnosed with cancer at age 4.

Aubrey Kennedy was 5 years old when she received a wish from the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She helps each year with Campus High’s Swim to a Wish, which raises money for wishes. Contributed photo

CONWAY SPRINGS – The City of Conway Springs is looking to strike a deal with Wellington Fire and EMS to take over the Conway Springs Emergency Medical Service.

The proposed agreement was approved unanimously on Tuesday night by the Wellington City Council, and the Conway Springs City Council will vote on the issue at its meeting next Tuesday. That meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Conway Springs city building, and is open to the public.
