Body Voth earns Drake honors CHENEY – Jackson Voth has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2025 semester at Drake University in Des Moines. To be eligible for the dean's list, students earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.

Cardinals 4-H Club tours ice center

Body CONWAY SPRINGS – On Feb. 15, the Conway Springs Cardinals 4-H Club met for their monthly meeting at the Wichita Ice Center. They started with a tour, where they were shown how to sharpen the blades on skates and told about the Zambonis.

Body HAYSVILLE – A full-service satellite office for the Sedgwick County Register of Deeds will open March 16 in Haysville City Hall. Register of Deeds Tonya Buckingham and chief deputy Kenly Zehring attended Monday’s city council meeting to announce the new office.

Nicked pipe caused Argonia boil order

Body ARGONIA – A nicked pipe was the cause of a boil order that impacted the City of Argonia to start this month. City officials said that a crew from Wheatland Electric was working on a project when a water main was inadvertently hit.
