Students named to Cowley honor rolls

The registrar’s office at Cowley College has released the names of students who earned spots on the president’s and dean’s honor rolls for the fall 2025 semester. Following are the students on the president’s list.

Easy Garlic Shrimp Noodles

Ingredients 1/3 cup soy sauce 2 tablespoons sesame oil 2 tablespoons lime juice 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce 2 teaspoons honey 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes 1/4 teaspoon dried ginger 10 ounces soba or lo mein noodles 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 pound shrimp, peeled salt, to taste 6 cloves garlic, minced 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated 2 tablespoons sesame seeds Directions Prepare a sauce by adding the soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, hoisin sauce, honey, garlic powder, red pepper flakes and dried ginger to a small bowl, and whisk until everything is well combined. Set it aside.

From January 1935 During the balmy springlike weather last week, when the daytime temperatures reached 67 degrees, some of our regular gardeners began looking over their potato ground, but they ran for cover Saturday when the mercury began a drop that continued until it reached a reported mark of 10 to 11 degrees below zero Monday morning- a drop of 77 degrees from Friday. Last week’s Clearwater News reported that the school was closed on Wednesday for the rest of the week because 60 of the 140 high school pupils and two of the seven teachers had the flu.
