Other city elections should be more routine Goddard city voters will have numerous candidates to choose from at the end of a year that saw a lot of controversy, including the departure of a mayor/city council member, the firing of the city administrator and the departure of another top staffer. The surprise changes earlier this year led to the return of Hunter Larkin to the position of mayor, a position he resigned from in 2022 after allegations of improper relations with developers who were funding a possible Statehouse campaign and had business before the Goddard City Council.

Council set to address full agenda at this week's workshop

CONWAY SPRINGS – Members of the Conway Springs City Council continued to add more agenda items for this week's council workshop as they tackled their regular meeting last week. At their regular meeting earlier in May, council members approved setting a workshop for 5:30 p.m.

Clearwater prepares for budget workshop

TSnews CLEARWATER – During the Clearwater City Council meeting on May 23, council members prepared for the annual budgeting process, receiving information from city administrator Courtney Zollinger on potential special projects and purchases for the 2024 and 2025 budget years. Among those projects were: • An upgrade to the CivicPlus payment system to allow it to accept digital payments for pool memberships, park reservations, and other fees.
