TSnews The Campus Colts, Eisenhower Tigers and Goddard Lions all ran at the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League Div. I and Div.

TSnews The Goddard Lions went on the road and beat the Arkansas City Bulldogs 437. The win improved the Lions’ record to 6-1, and it also moved the Lions into a three-way tie on top of the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League Div.

TSnews The Garden Plain Owls secured their second straight district championship by going on the road and shutting out the Douglass Bulldogs 44-0 last Friday. This also is the second time in three years under head coach Todd Rice that the Owls have won a district title.

TSnews The Campus Colts had their highest offensive output of the season, but came up short in their quest for a win in a 42-23 loss to the Salina South Cougars at Colt Stadium in Haysville. Both the Colts and Cougars came into the game looking for their first victory of the season.

TSnews The Conway Springs Cardinals wrapped up Class 1A District 7 with a 34-21 home win over the Ellinwood Eagles, overcoming a first-half deficit. Down 15-14 at halftime, the Cardinals went ahead with a pair of third-quarter touchdowns.

TSnews Coming off the season’s second loss, the Argonia-Attica Titans got right with a convincing 45-0 shutout win over the visiting Ashland Blue Jays in Attica. The Titans put up 26 first-quarter points to take over last week’s game early.

TSnews A fourth-quarter touchdown for the Andover Central Jaguars resulted in a 27-26 win over the visiting Eisenhower Tigers. The Jaguars jumped out to a 14-0 first-quarter lead, with the second touchdown coming on a long pick-6 interception.

TSnews The Goddard Lions boys soccer team played a single game last week, losing 3-1 at Arkansas City on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

TSnews The Collegiate Spartans came up big on offense and defense while beating the Cheney Cardinals 31-7 last Friday in Wichita. It was the Cardinals’ first loss this season, as their 19game winning streak came to an end.

TSnews The Pratt Greenbacks shut out the visiting Clearwater Indians during the second half of last Friday’s football game, earning a 36-7 district win. Already leading 14-7 at halftime, Pratt outscored Clearwater 22-0 after the intermission.
