Body TSnews Last week was a hard one for the Garden Plain girls basketball team at the Haven Wildcat Classic. The Owls went 0-3 and struggled to score points in all three games.

Body TSnews The Argonia Raiders boys basketball team used a fast start last Tuesday to beat Udall 58-52 and halt a three-game losing streak. The Raiders led 16-7 after the opening period and pushed their lead to 29-17 by the intermission.

Body The Campus girls bowlers turned in a team score of 2307 to beat Derby (2185) and Maize (1660) on Jan. 16 at Bowlero Northridge.

Body TSnews The Argonia Raiders boys basketball team had a 12-point lead at one point in last Saturday’s seventh-place game against against Caldwell at the South Central Border League Tournament, but could not hold on to it as the Raiders fell 51-40 to the Blue Jays.

Body TSnews The Rose Hill Rockets came from behind to beat the Garden Plain Owls 44-43 in the sixth-place game of the Adolph Rupp Invitational in Halstead last Saturday. The Owls, coming off of a win over Halstead in the consolation semifinals, almost picked up a second win.

Body TSnews The Campus Colts picked up their sole victory at last week’s Tournament of Champions in Dodge City by beating the Eisenhower Tigers 81-55. The Tigers went 0-3 in the tournament, as it was a tough week for both squads.
