The Eisenhower Tigers and the Maize South Mavericks tied for first place at the Tigers’ home nine-hole tournament, played last Thursday at Auburn Hills Golf Course. The Tigers’ Kayla Jensen shot 45 to win the individual title, and teammate Madison Loomis tied with Andover Central’s Ashley Kramer for second place, as each shot 46.

Hornets sting Lions for first loss

TSnews The Goddard Lions football team was unable to hold an early lead at home last Friday, as the Valley Center Hornets came back from behind to beat the Lions 14-6. The Lions took a lead late in the first quarter on a 30-yard touchdown run by Mason Healy, his third touchdown this season.
