Tigers fall at Hutch

Body Eisenhower lost 3-1 at Hutchinson on Tuesday, Sept. 23. Lucas Freund scored the Tigers’ lone goal, and goalkeeper Jack Loibl made five saves on eight shots. The result put EHS at 4-3-1 on the season.

Conway Springs stumbles against Medicine Lodge

Body TSnews With two fourth-quarter touchdowns, the visiting Medicine Lodge Indians put a damper on homecoming night in Conway Springs, defeating the Cardinals 28-13. The loss puts the Cardinals in an 0-1 hole in Class 1A District 7, and they now stand at 1-3 on the season.

Cheney makes statement in district win over Clearwater

Body TSnews The Cheney Cardinals football team got off to a great start in Class 3A District 7 play, beating the visiting Clearwater Indians 41-0 last Friday. The Cardinals’ win puts them into early consideration as a district favorite, improving their season record to 3-1.
