Body Following are next week’s menus for Friendship Meals and Meals on Wheels in both Sedgwick County and Sumner County. A change was made recently, and there are now different menus for Sedgwick County and Sumner County.

After delay, newspapers delivered

Body TSnews Most TSnews subscribers in Goddard and an unknown number in Clearwater and Haysville, and potentially elsewhere, were without last week’s newspaper until Monday of this week.

Cashless tolls

Body On July 1, the Kansas Turnpike will become a cashless driving experience. The Kansas Turnpike Authority (KTA) has been working for some time to get ready for the move to cashless tolling.
Gantries like this one on I-335 between Emporia and Topeka will track the number of miles that Kansas Turnpike users drive. A majority of drivers use KTAG and won’t notice a difference. About 25 percent of drivers have been paying cash. Starting July 1, they will be sent invoices for using the turnpike. Travis Mounts/TSnews
