County could block Steven's incentive request

GODDARD – A requested $1.2 million incentive package that could benefit the developer of Goddard's STAR bond district could be denied by Sedgwick County. The Wichita Eagle reported last week that developer Rodney Steven II and Brandon Steven are looking to transfer ownership of a property to Goddard Housing LLC., a limited liability company with unknown ownership.

TSnews HAYSVILLE - Nearly 100 people gathered in Haysville's Historic District on Friday evening to mark the 25th anniversary of the tornado that redefined the city's core. Mayor Russ Kessler welcomed the attendees and talked about the growth of the city since May 3, 1999, when a major tornado dropped down in what is now the historic district before creating a path of destruction up the railroad tracks through downtown Haysville and into south Wichita.
