TSnews HAYSVILLE – This year’s July 4 celebrations likely will be special. The nation’s 250th anniversary prompted action Monday by the Haysville City Council regarding the sale and discharge of fireworks for that holiday.

Seventy-four Wichita area students have been awarded scholarships to Kansas State University totaling $42,000. Sixty-six of them received K-State Alumni Club scholarships.
