TSnews The Goddard Lions turned in their most dominant performance of the season, a 41-7 victory against a struggling Newton Lions program. The Lions built a 41-0 lead over the the first three quarters.

TSnews A big first half powered the Eisenhower Tigers to their fourth victory this season, a 51-28 win at the Salina Central Mustangs. Already leading 14-7 after a quarter, the Tigers scored 27 points in the second quarter and had the Mustangs broken by halftime.

TSnews With 28 first-quarter points, the Argonia-Attica Titans defeated the host Norwich Eagles football team 48-28 last Friday and moved to 3-1 this season. The Titans also got an all-important district win as they opened play in 8-Man Div.

TSnews The Eisenhower Tigers’ Quinn Scheideman is making her mark during her freshman tennis season. She won the singles title at the 2024 Doug Gayer Classic, played in McPherson on Sept.

TSnews The Garden Plain Owls volleyball team turned in one of its better performances last Saturday when the Owls took second at the Douglass invite, winning four of its five matches on the day.

TSnews Logan McKim of Garden Plain placed fourth in the boys varsity 5K race last Thursday at the Goddard Invitational at Lake Afton. Two of his Andale teammates, Jack Cutler and Sam Pavelski, placed second and third as the team beat 11 other squads.

TSnews The Campus Colts boys soccer team traveled to Salina Central on Thursday, Sept. 26, and came home with a win, 5-0.

TSnews The Campus Colts football team continues to fight and work hard through its early season struggles, as they fall to 0-4 after last Friday’s 51-13 loss at Maize South. The first half was difficult, as the Colts fell behind 51-0.

TSnews The Goddard Lions boys soccer team went 1-1 last week, winning 4-0 at Winfield on Monday, Sept. 23, then falling 6-0 at Derby the following evening.

TSnews The Goddard Lions girls golf team got another strong performance from Sydney Chapman as the Lions took seventh at the Andale Invitational Monday at Cherry Oaks Golf Course. The Lions shot a 397, 12 strokes ahead of eighthplace Circle and five behind sixth-place Salina Central.
