Body CHENEY – There is still time to sign up for the seventh annual Cheney High School Band golf tournament. This year, the band department is raising money to purchase new drumline equipment.

Body TSnews The Clearwater Indians softball team’s winning streak hit seven games Monday afternoon after it swept a doubleheader at home against the Rose Hill Rockets. The Indians took the opener 6-5 and the nightcap 17-8.

Body TSnews Campus Colts swimmers placed second in a crowded 12-team field in Haysville on April 23. Winfield dominated the meet, scoring 531 points to easily win.

Body TSnews The Goddard Lions boys track and field team edged out the host Wichita East Blue Aces at the East Relays, held in Wichita on April 23. The two teams finished well ahead of the rest of the field, which included many of the Greater Wichita Athletic League teams.

Body Eisenhower, Campus track compete at Hutchinson TSnews The Eisenhower girls track and field team had a strong performance in a big field last Friday in Hutchinson, scoring 80 points and placing second. There were 13 girls and boys teams competing.

Body TSnews The Conway Springs Cardinals and Argonia Raiders traveled to Wellington on Friday. This was a participation meet with unlimited entries, and team scores were not kept.
