TSnews The Clearwater Indians softball team’s winning streak hit seven games Monday afternoon after it swept a doubleheader at home against the Rose Hill Rockets. The Indians took the opener 6-5 and the nightcap 17-8.

GHS boys win East Relays

TSnews The Goddard Lions boys track and field team edged out the host Wichita East Blue Aces at the East Relays, held in Wichita on April 23. The two teams finished well ahead of the rest of the field, which included many of the Greater Wichita Athletic League teams.

Tigers girls take second behind Andale

Eisenhower, Campus track compete at Hutchinson TSnews The Eisenhower girls track and field team had a strong performance in a big field last Friday in Hutchinson, scoring 80 points and placing second. There were 13 girls and boys teams competing.

Cardinals, Raiders go to Wellington

TSnews The Campus Colts girls soccer team hosted Newton on senior night, April 26, and lost 4-2. Colts head coach Casey Reece said he thought his players came out of the locker room a bit on edge.

Lions find positives in loss

TSnews The Goddard Lions girls soccer team hosted Andover last Thursday, April 25, and lost – but this time, the score was 2-0, rather than the 12-3 blowout Goddard suffered the last time the teams met, on March 27. In fact, the game was even closer than the 2-0 scoreline makes it look.
