The Clearwater girls track and field team finished fourth among six teams at the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League meet in Wellington last Friday. The Indians scored 90 points, coming in 12 points behind the host Crusaders.

Owls win titles at Remington

TSnews The Garden Plain girls and boys teams both were championships at Remington High School’s Larry Brown Invitational, held in Whitewater last Friday. The Owls racked up a lot of points and a good deal of first-place finishes.

TSnews The Conway Springs girls track and field team had one of its best finishes of the season, as the Cardinals placed second at the Chaparral track meet last Friday. Chaparral was the runaway winner in the girls’ competition with 153 points.

Colts beat Cougars

TSnews The Campus Colts girls soccer team got a win at their second home field in Clearwater on Friday, May 3, beating the Salina South Cougars 2-1. “We needed that game,” Colts head coach Casey Reece said.

TSnews The Cheney Cardinals and Conway Springs-Argonia Reds baseball teams split a doubleheader last Thursday at Cheney, with the Cardinals taking the opener 10-0 and the Reds taking the nightcap 3-1. Cameron Eastman was brilliant on the mound in the opener, tossing a twohit shutout while striking out five and walking two.
