Body The Campus Colts girls soccer team got a welcome win at Salina Central on April 9, beating the Mustangs 2-1. “The girls played well,” Colts head coach Casey Reece said.

Body TSnews The Eisenhower girls soccer team went 1-1 on the soccer field last week, losing 4-3 versus Maize on Tuesday, then rebounding with a 4-1 victory over McPherson.

Body TSnews The Garden Plain Owls track and field team started last week by taking part in Belle Plaine’s participation meet on April 9. They competed again last Friday at their own participation meet.

Body TSnews The Eisenhower Tigers performed well last Friday at the Steve Crosley Invitational track and field meet, hosted by Wichita Heights. The Tigers had a number of top finishes, although team scores were not reported online.

Body TSnews The Conway Springs Cardinals took part in last Friday’s Wayne Pipkin Invitational at Garden Plain. This was a participation meet with unlimited entries, and no team scores were kept.

Body TSnews The Argonia Raiders went to Kiowa on April 9 to take part in the South Barber Invitational. The Raiders earned a pair of first-place finishes, and put athletes in the medal contention (top 6) in eight events.

Body The Campus High School track and field team will host its annual meet this Friday at Colt Stadium in Haysville. The meet begins at 3:30 p.m.

Body TSnews Aiden Lynch shot a low score of 75 on Monday at Sterling Country Club, helping the Cheney Cardinals to a second-place finish. They came in just behind Ellinwood, which shot four strokes better than Cheney to win with a 327 team score.

Body The Campus Colts were second out of eight schools at their home meet last week on Thursday. McPherson was the big winner with 565 points.

Body TSnews The Campus Colts softball team ran its winning streak to 10 games as it swept a trio of doubleheaders last week.
