Body TSnews The Goddard Lions girls soccer team hosted Andover last Thursday, April 25, and lost – but this time, the score was 2-0, rather than the 12-3 blowout Goddard suffered the last time the teams met, on March 27.

Body The suspension of the rest of the Valley Center Hornets’ high school baseball season will impact one local team. The Eisenhower Tigers were set to play at Valley Center this Friday.

Goddard boys 1st at Andover, EHS girls and boys 2nd

Body TSnews The Goddard and Eisenhower boys battled for supremacy at the Andover Invitational on April 16, and the Eisenhower girls finished second as well at the 12-team track meet. Goddard scored 115 points, edging Eisenhower by 17 points for the boys’ championship.

Owls and Indians run at Clearwater

Body TSnews Clearwater hosted its second track meet of the season last Friday, with Garden Plain among the eight teams competing. The Garden Plain girls had the best local team finish, as they placed third with 83 points.

Both Cardinals teams go to Halstead meet

Body Travis Mounts TSnews The Cheney Cardinals and Conway Springs Cardinals took part in the Conrad Nightingale Invitational last Friday in Halstead. It is considered to be a more competitive meet due to a large number of teams.
