TSnews Three athletes from the Campus Colts cooperative swim program – representing three different high schools – took part in the three-day swimming and diving State tournaments last week in Shawnee, Kan.

TSnews The Cheney girls and boys track and field teams will go into this weekend’s Class 3A State meet with a lot of momentum. The girls scored 100 points for a strong win at the 3A regional at Halstead.

TSnews The Clearwater Indians will send athletes to the Class 4A State meet this week at Wichita State University’s Cessna Stadium. The Indians’ girls placed fourth out of eight teams scoring points, with a respectable 64 points at the 4A regional in Scott City .

Goddard boys finish second TSnews The Goddard Lions and Eisenhower Tigers track and field teams will be sending several athletes to this week’s State meet at Wichita State University to compete in Class 5A. The Goddard boys had the best overall day, as the Lions placed second.

GP teams finish in second place TSnews The Garden Plain Owls and Conway Springs Cardinals participated in the Class 2A State track and field meet last Thursday in Eureka. The Garden Plain teams both placed second.

TSnews Argonia junior Lakelyn Love is going back to the Class 1A State track and field meet. Love was one of four athletes to clear at least 5-0 at last Thursday’s regional meet in Greensburg.

TSnews Campus High School senior and standout track start BreAna Garrett-Tillemans enhanced her high school career with three regional gold medals last Friday at the Class 6A regional track and field meet in Liberal. She helped the Campus girls scored 85 points and finished fourth among nine teams.

TSnews The Campus Colts girls soccer team traveled to Topeka on May 16 to face Washburn Rural in the first round of regional play. Their season ended on an 8-0 loss.
