Lady Tigers go 2-2 in busy week

Body TSnews The Eisenhower Tigers girls basketball team was busy on the hardwood last week, playing a road game at Salina Central on Tuesday, then traveling to Newton for a midseason tournament.

Colts still looking for first win

Body TSnews The Campus Colts girls basketball team was busy last week, with one regular-season game and three tournament games between Monday and Saturday. Unfortunately, the Colts went 0-4 in those games, and are still looking for the season’s first victory.

Owls struggle at Haven tourney

Body TSnews Last week was a hard one for the Garden Plain girls basketball team at the Haven Wildcat Classic. The Owls went 0-3 and struggled to score points in all three games.

Argonia boys stop losing skid with Udall victory

Body TSnews The Argonia Raiders boys basketball team used a fast start last Tuesday to beat Udall 58-52 and halt a three-game losing streak. The Raiders led 16-7 after the opening period and pushed their lead to 29-17 by the intermission.

Body The Campus girls bowlers turned in a team score of 2307 to beat Derby (2185) and Maize (1660) on Jan. 16 at Bowlero Northridge.

Cheney claims Rupp with OT win over Andale

Body TSnews The Cheney Cardinals and the Andale Indians played two epic games in football during the 2023 season, but it can be argued that their basketball rivalry is even better. The teams faced off in Halstead on Saturday in the Adolph Rupp Invitational championship.

Body TSnews The Argonia Raiders boys basketball team had a 12-point lead at one point in last Saturday’s seventh-place game against against Caldwell at the South Central Border League Tournament, but could not hold on to it as the Raiders fell 51-40 to the Blue Jays.
