Cheney rallies from big deficit to win State berth

Body TSnews Miracle finishes and comebacks are becoming routine for the Cheney Cardinals. For the second time this season, the Cardinals dug themselves out of a big hole early to defeat the dominant Andale Indians, the best team in Class 3A over the past four years.

Cheney explodes in second half for big win

Body TSnews The undefeated Cheney Cardinals scored 30 points after halftime in a 37-8 Class 3A football playoff win over the visiting Holcomb Longhorns. Jack Voth gave the Cardinals their lone offensive highlight in the first half, returning a punt 60 yards for a 7-0 lead.
