HAYSVILLE – With six community-minded candidates to pick from, members of the Haysville Chamber of Commerce elected three new board of directors members to serve from 2026 to 2029. The new board directors who were elected at last week’s Chamber meeting were Justin Bruster, Bret Clark and Nick Newcom.

Voth earns Drake honors CHENEY – Jackson Voth has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2025 semester at Drake University in Des Moines. To be eligible for the dean's list, students earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.

CONWAY SPRINGS – On Feb. 15, the Conway Springs Cardinals 4-H Club met for their monthly meeting at the Wichita Ice Center. They started with a tour, where they were shown how to sharpen the blades on skates and told about the Zambonis.
