Star Files

Body
From April 12, 1979 “Stuff,” by Jim Cline I went to sleep before it was over. After suffering through all the trivia, I just couldn’t stay awake to see “The Deerslayer,” Jane Fonda, and the others get the biggies. Members of the Academy must sit around thinking up all the old timers who never received awards, then invent one for each of them. It all gets pretty dull. Anyway, Dalice woke me up to go to bed, and I had to ask her who won. I don’t remember all the winners – just “The Deerslayer,” which I have not seen, and Jane Fonda, whom I have.
