HAYSVILLE – Sedgwick County Sheriff Jeff Easter has identified the man killed by Haysville Police last week on Tuesday. Bill Osterhout, a resident of Haysville, died on March 26 after being shot by two Haysville Police Department officers.

GODDARD – A longtime liquor store in Goddard has new owners. Mike and Sweta Bhatt have opened American Liquor and Wine, which most recently was known as M&R Liquor.

The Clearwater City Council meeting on March 26 included discussion and action on several matters. • One project the city is saving up for is installation of a sidewalk on the north side of Ross Avenue from Chisholm Ridge Ponds to the corner of Fourth and Ross.

CONWAY SPRINGS – It's officials. After several months of having just one meeting a month, the Conway Springs City Council has voted to approve going back to two meetings a month.

Digital photos and videos, documents, and spreadsheets can be gone in a blink of an eye in a tornado or flood – and fire or theft at any time of year,” said Steen, a co-coordinator of the Kansas community empowerment program and social media specialist.
