Haysville to save money on waste disposal

TSnews HAYSVILLE – The Haysville City Council at its meeting Monday adopted an agreement for a new way to dispose of biosolid waste that is expected to save the city $25,000 per year. The city processes this waste through a rotary press then places the biosolids in a container provided by Waste Connections for transportation to the Plumb Thicket landfill.

Staff report TSnews Power company Evergy, Inc., broke ground last week on a new plant in Sumner County. It is one of two new 705 megawatt combined-cycle natural gas plants that the company is going to build in Kansas.

St. Rose Circle to meet in Clonmel
