The Washburn University Dancing Blues danced their way to success, bringing home new hardware from the 2026 College Classic National Championship, held April 10-12 in Orlando, and closing their 2025–26 season on a high note.

TSnews The Kansas State High School Activities Association Board of Directors voted on April 23 to add girls flag football as an official KSHSAA-sanctioned activity, starting in the 2026-27 school year. Kansas is now the 18th state to sanction the sport, which will start in the fall.
