Richard D Clark, journeying through life ruggedly from 6/6/1933 to 6/3/2023. Dubbed the “Mountain Man,” Richard passed peacefully at his home in Gould, Colo. Richard is survived by his daughters, Kim Clark (Patrice Franklin) Carolyn Gillis (Chris Gillis), and Stephanie Bollinger (Thomas Bollinger), and was preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Dianne, and grandson, Corey Clark, who both passed in 2013. He also is survived by his grandchildren, Hallie Bull Jones, Zachary Gillis, Samantha Gillis Adams, Taylor Shea Waters, and great-grandchildren, Cameron and Mckenna Waters.

Ruby M. Fisher, 93, died in Clearwater on June 8, 2023. She was born in Clearwater on Aug. 20,1929.

Kathleen A. Ternes, 93, of Conway Springs, retired Copeland Corporation line supervisor, passed away at her home, Thursday evening, June 8, 2023.

Val Joyce Mae Adams, 86, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on June 7, 2023. She grew up in Winfield

Gay Diane Gower, of Cheney, 72, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023, after suffering cardiac arrest on May 9. She was born Aug. 22, 1950, to Henry and Doris Sovereign Stoll in Wichita, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her mother; sister, Sue Stoll McCarty; husband, Mike Gower; and daughter, Melanie Diane Gower.

Benjamin “Benny” David DeVaney, 70, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita. He was born on May 5, 1953, in Pratt to Benjamin Wallace and Madeline Mary (Maas) DeVaney. Benjamin married Lorie Lee (Bogart) DeVaney on Oct. 8, 1977, at Sacred Heart Church in Pratt. They were married for 45 years.

Larry Jacobs 79, died Wednesday, May 31, 2023. He was born Sept. 28, 1943, in Wichita to Peter and Mary (Schnieder) Jacobs. Larry was a seabee in the U.S. Navy and a retired Boeing machinist. His hobbies included camping, fishing, gardening, and attending grandkids' ball games, and he was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan.

Gay Diane Gower, of Cheney, 72, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023, after suffering cardiac arrest on May 9. She was born Aug. 22, 1950, to Henry and Doris Sovereign Stoll in Wichita, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her mother; sister, Sue Stoll McCarty; husband, Mike Gower; and daughter, Melanie Diane Gower.

William “Tex” S. Titterington II, age 68, ret. Lt. Col, U.S. Army from Clearwater, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023. Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. Thursday, June 1, with family present 5:30-7 p.m., at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary Chapel, Clearwater. Service will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 2, at Ascension Lutheran Church, 842 N. Tyler, Wichita.

Jack W. Ferguson, 84, retired TSgt for the United States Air Force, of Haysville, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis, surrounded by family and friends.
