Gary Kenneth Appelman, 78, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2023. He was born on July 25, 1944, in Wichita to the late Kenneth Appelman and Lovina (Goodell) Appelman.

Gladys V. (Fox) Roth, age 89, of Clearwater, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 11, with family present 5:30-7 p.m., at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary. Private graveside service is planned.

Gladys was born on Monday, Feb. 26, 1934, in Burden, Kan., to her parents, William Hubert Fox and Donna Veronica (Bolack) Fox. She was united in marriage to Don Covert Roth on May 27, 1956, in Manhattan, Kan. 

Linda F. Hermes, 82, retired owner of Hermes Liquor in Goddard, died May 6, 2023 at her home.

David Wayne Brundage, of Conway Springs, passed away on May 5, 2023, at the age of 65. David was born the son of Kendall and Pat (Landreth) Brundage on June 11, 1957, in Wellington, but was raised in Milan. He later attended school in Argonia, graduating in 1975.

Ed was born May, 26, 1958, and grew up in Garden Plain. He participated in sports, band, school government and graduated as valedictorian in 1976. He went on to complete his under-grad studies at Kansas Newman College and earned his medical degree at Kansas University.

Christene “Chris” Sue Robinson, loving wife, mother and grandmother, from Clearwater,4 passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the age of 76. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at First Christian Church in Clearwater.

Linda Faye (Brown) Clements, age 77, of Haysville, retired social worker, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023.

June Marie (Abbott) Finney of Clearwater, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully the evening of April 19, 2023.

Charles “Charlie” McKinzie, 80, of Derby, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, April 20, 2023. He was born to Charles and Violet (Turley) McKinzie in Welch, Okla.

Lucy Marie Jenks, 94, retired Dillons employee, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023.
