Body Paul “Buck” Leis, 61, passed away Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, leaving behind a lifetime of good stories, hard work, and a circle of friends who will never forget him. He never met a stranger and will be remembered for his big heart.

Body Marion Leo Bishop, 97, retired minister, went home to be with our Lord on Dec. 27, 2025. He was born on Aug. 9, 1928, in Freedom, Okla., to Earl and Etta Worley Bishop. On Jan. 30, 1955, he and Donna Mae Peacock were united in marriage in Cheney, Kan.

Body Lynette Ann Markel, 64, died Dec. 24, 2025, at Hutchinson.She was born Sept. 1, 1961, in Wichita, the daughter of Raymond and Phyllis (Geubelle) Lubbers. She grew up in the St. Joe Ost community, where she attended grade school, then later graduated from Andale High School.

Body Theresa "Trudy" Mary Stuhlsatz, homemaker, retired USD 267 school bus driver and St. Anthony's religious education teacher, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2025, at the age of 78.

Body Veronica Rose Van Amburg, 36, of Wichita, flew to heaven to be with her father and the Lord on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025.

Body Robert William Cleveland, age 87, passed away Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025.Visitation will be 9:30-10 a.m. and service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22, both at West Haysville Baptist Church.

Body John Seiwert, 69, passed away Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, at his home southwest of Conway Springs.Charles John Seiwert was born Nov. 29, 1956, to Clarence Joseph Seiwert and Agnes Elizabeth (Peitz) Seiwert. He grew up on the family farm southwest of Conway Springs. He attended St.
