Marcia Joan (Davis) Stuhlsatz, 75, passed away peacefully, Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025, at her home in Mayfield, surrounded by her family.

Born June 29, 1950, in Wichita to Ralph and Jeraldyn Davis, Marcia was raised in Conway Springs. She attended St. Joseph Catholic School and graduated from Conway Springs High School in 1968.

At the age of 15, Marcia met the love of her life, Jim Stuhlsatz. They were married on July 20, 1968, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, just two months after her high school graduation, and shared 57 dedicated years together.

Timothy A. Wallace, age 44, passed away on Monday, Sept. 29, 2025.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 7, from noon to 7 p.m., with family present 5:30 to 7 p.m., at Webb Shinkle Mortuary, 200 S. Tracy, Clearwater. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the United Methodist Church, 130 N. 1st St., Clearwater.

He was preceded in death by mother, Kimberly (Allison)Wallace; grandparents, Floyd and Margorie Allison, and Charles and Helen Wallace; aunt, Judith Cumming; uncle, Daniel Wallace; and cousin, Erin Cumming.

JoAnn Roberts, 90, beloved mother and Granny, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025, at the Cheney Main Street Villa in Cheney.

JoAnn was born Feb. 2, 1935, in Peabody, Kan., to Charles and Helen (Snavely) Lock. After the early loss of her mother, she was lovingly raised in Norwich by her father, with the devoted help of her aunt and uncle, Hester and Tex Holder. This upbringing deeply shaped her values of faith, resilience, and compassion.

James John Kerschen, age 91, passed away Monday, Sept. 22, 2025, surrounded by his family.

James was born to Nicholas and Johanna (Geiger) Kerschen on May 12, 1934.

James and Mary Sylvia Ayers were married Aug. 10, 1963, at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Modesto, Calif.

James was a retired brick mason and farmer. He was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order (OFS) since 1961, for which he served as minister for many years.

James is preceded in death by his parents, brother Eugene, and brother in-law John Wilhite.

Donald L. Casner, 79, of Viola, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025 at his home east of Viola, Kan.

Don was born July 9, 1946 in Wichita. He was the son of C. L. “Bus” and Lillie (Sartin) Casner. He grew up in the Viola community and attended the Viola School before transferring to Conway Springs in the eighth grade. He graduated from Conway Springs High School with the class of 1964. He continued his education at Sterling College and Arkansas City Junior College before completing a bachelor of science degree at Pittsburg State University.

Bobbi Jo (Burford) Kaspar, 67, formerly of Milton, of Wichita, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, at her residence.

Bobbi was born March 26, 1958, in Wichita to Lewis Haven Burford and Virginia Lee (Hedrick) Burford. She was raised on a farm near Milton, along with her sisters, Brenda and Barbara, and brother Brent. She attended Norwich public schools and graduated from Norwich High School in 1976.

Patrick Joseph “Pat” Elpers

Patrick Joseph “Pat” Elpers, 64, died Sept. 11, 2025 in Wichita.

He was born April 21, 1961, in Wichita the son of Roland and Mary Jane Albers Elpers. A longtime resident of Kingman County, he was a farmer and stockman.

Pat was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church, Mt. Vernon; the Farm Bureau Association; the St. Rose Men’s Club; the Pretty Prairie Booster Club; and was currently a Kingman County commissioner.

David D. Rosenhagen

David D. Rosenhagen, 90, a loving husband, father, grandpa, and great-grandpa, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025.

David spent 45+ years working as a lineman for the Sedgwick County Electric Cooperative in Cheney, where he was known for his dedication and hard work. When he wasn’t on the job, you could find him on the farm, where he loved working the land and spending harvest seasons making memories with family and friends.

Visitation with be 1-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, with family present 5:30-7 p.m., at Shinkle Mortuary, Haysville. Service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 5 at Triumphant Faith Center, 5103 S. Seneca St., Wichita.
