TSnews The Argonia Raiders girls basketball team took a six-point lead to the locker room last Friday, but could not hold off a second-half comeback in a 45-43 loss to Flinthills on homecoming. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for the Raiders (10-8), who also had won six of their last seven entering last Friday.

OVERLAND PARK – The College Baseball Hall of Fame will open its first-ever physical location in the Kansas City suburb of Overland Park, located in Johnson County. The announcement comes from the College Baseball Foundation and Visit Overland Park.

Conway Springs bounces back at GP

TSnews The Conway Springs Cardinals boys basketball team shook off a loss to Kingman earlier in the week to down the Garden Plain Owls 39-34 last Friday. “Between Kingman and Garden Plain, we really tried to focus on the details that were plaguing us and get back to our identity,” Conway Springs coach Paul Lange said.

CSHS fall to Kingman

Last Tuesday against Kingman, the Cardinals fell to Kingman 48-42. Conway Springs trailed 25-13 at halftime, but outscored the Eagles 21-8 in the third to lead 34-33 at the start of the final period.
