TSnews The Argonia Raiders boys basketball team had a 12-point lead at one point in last Saturday’s seventh-place game against against Caldwell at the South Central Border League Tournament, but could not hold on to it as the Raiders fell 51-40 to the Blue Jays.

TSnews The Rose Hill Rockets came from behind to beat the Garden Plain Owls 44-43 in the sixth-place game of the Adolph Rupp Invitational in Halstead last Saturday. The Owls, coming off of a win over Halstead in the consolation semifinals, almost picked up a second win.

TSnews The Campus Colts picked up their sole victory at last week’s Tournament of Champions in Dodge City by beating the Eisenhower Tigers 81-55. The Tigers went 0-3 in the tournament, as it was a tough week for both squads.

TSnews The Conway Springs Cardinals boys basketball team came up just short in its quest to take third place last Saturday at the Chaparral Roadrunner Classic, falling to the Wellington Crusaders 63-59.

TSnews The Eisenhower Tigers girls basketball team traveled to Campus on Jan. 16 and came home with a win, 46-15.

TSnews The Campus Colts picked up their second consecutive victory on Monday night, winning at home 59-50 over the Derby Panthers in a game that was originally scheduled for Jan. 5.

TSnews The Clearwater Indians girls basketball team held a 10-point lead in the third period and led until the game’s final 20 seconds last Tuesday at Mulvane, but ultimately fell 42-41 to the host Wildcats.

TSnews The Clearwater Indians boys basketball team continued its resurgence on the hardwood last week as it won two of its three games at the Chaparral Classic to place fifth at the annual event.

Campus Colts’ guard Andrell Burton, Jr., hit a major career milestone at Dodge City’s Tournament of Champions. He passed the 1,000-point mark for his career during Friday’s loss against Olathe East.
