Body The Campus Colts picked up their second victory of the season with a 63-53 victory over the visiting Andover Central Jaguars. This was the Colts’ second straight home win.

Body The Eisenhower Tigers boys basketball team hosted Maize on Friday, Dec. 8, losing 57-44.

Body The Clearwater Indians girls basketball team raced out to an early lead last Tuesday and never looked back to take a 51-33 win over the visiting Arkansas City Bulldogs. Clearwater (1-1) opened a 19-7 lead after the opening period and pushed its advantage to 33-15 by halftime.

Body The Garden Plain girls basketball team went 2-1 in play at the Hesston tournament this week. Garden Plain, Hesston, Rose Hill and Nickerson play a round-robin tournament annually, rotating hosting duties.

Body The Goddard Lions girls played their second game of the season at Buhler on Tuesday, Dec. 5, winning 45-39.

Body The Argonia Raiders girls basketball team gathered some needed momentum as it took two out of three games at the Border Queen Tournament and placed third in the annual classic hosted by Caldwell.

Body The Goddard Lions girls wrestling team made the trip to Great Bend last weekend for the Christmas Clash and one wrestler came home with a topfour finish. Breann Bradley (170 pounds) won four matches by pin and ended up taking fourth at the event.

Body The Eisenhower Tigers boys and girls wrestling teams headed to Douglass last weekend to compete in the Douglass Goodwill Invitational, with the boys wrestling last Saturday and the girls taking to the mats the day before that.

Body The Campus Colts girls wrestling team turned in a solid performance at the Douglass Goodwill Invitational last Friday, finishing seventh at the 22-team event and placing four wrestlers in the top four.

Body The Garden Plain Owls wrestling team had four wrestlers end up in the top three and finished sixth as a team after a strong performance last Saturday at the Hesston Invitational.
