Body The Campus Colts boys basketball team won a pair of games and placed fifth at the 12th annual Thunder Classic, hosted by Nemaha Central. Campus wrapped up its trip to Seneca, where Nemaha Central is located, with a 60-45 win over Marysville.

Indians down Dragons for seventh at Chaparral

Body The Clearwater Indians boys basketball team halted a nine-game losing streak by downing the Belle Plaine Dragons 56-44 last Friday in the seventh-place game at the Chaparral Roadrunner Classic. It also was the third win of the season for the Indians (3-11).

Tigers girls win two at Ralph Miller

Body Eisenhower’s girls basketball team opened the Ralph Miller Classic in Chanute with backto- back wins, beating Coffeyville’s Field Kindley High School 49-16 on Thursday, Jan. 22, and Louisburg 58-44 on Friday, Jan. 23.
