TSnews The Campus Colts girls basketball team lost a pair of Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League games last week, including a 51-23 loss at the Andover Central Jaguars last Friday. Down 21-9 after a quarter, the Colts were held scoreless in the second quarter and trailed 35-9 at halftime.

TSnews Eisenhower High School’s boys and girls basketball teams were at Salina Central on Friday, Jan. 16, for the sole game they played last week.

TSnews The Clearwater Indians girls basketball team used a strong defensive effort last Friday night atBuhler to come away with a 33-29 win over the host Crusaders, giving the Indians a nice bounce-back after a loss to Andale. Clearwater held the hosts to just 17 percent shooting from the field (8for-46) in the game as the Indians improved to 8-3 on the season.

TSnews The defending Class 6A State champion Campus girls bowling team beat the Maize South Mavericks 2274-1885 at Bowlero Northridge on Jan. 15.

TSnews The Clearwater Indians boys basketball team finds itself on a seven-game losing streak after dropping a 77-44 decision at Buhler last Friday. Last Friday, the host Crusaders raced out to a 25-13 lead after the opening period and extended their lead to 4327 by the intermission.

TSnews A very challenging December schedule for an inexperienced Garden Plain Owls girls basketball team seems to have helped forge the Owls into a tough team in 2026. The Owls beat visiting Medicine Lodge 58-39 last Friday for their sixth consecutive win, with all of those wins coming this month.

TSnews The Goddard Lions girls basketball team split two home games last week, dropping a 71-34 decision to Maize South on Jan. 13 before bouncing back to beat Newton 59-43 on Jan.

TSnews The Conway Springs Cardinals girls basketball team finds itself on a 10game winning streak after the Cardinals rolled to a 61-30 win at Rose Hill last Friday. The host Rockets led 10-8 after the opening period, but Conway Springs caught fire from there, taking a 26-17 lead by halftime and increasing their lead to 48-27 by the start of the fourth quarter.

TSnews The Goddard Lions boys basketball team fell to Maize South 63-21 on Tuesday, Jan. 13, then rebounded to defeat Newton 52-40 on Friday, Jan.
