EHS students named national merit semifinalists

Body GODDARD – Officials of National Merit Scholarship Corporation have announced the names of more than 16,000 semifinalists in the 70th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Three students at Eisenhower High School were among the students recognized nationwide.

Grant to expand Sumner Co. welding program

Body SUMNER COUNTY – Cowley College has announced a significant boost to its welding program, thanks to a $41,055 grant from the Kansas Department of Commerce’s Jobs and Innovative Industry Skills Training Grant (JIIST).
