CLEARWATER – The Clearwater Public Library is holding a community conversation this Saturday. The library has received a grant to better serve its patrons with disabilities.
Tanganyika Wildlife Park has been named one of the best animal encounters in the United States, according to the 2024 Newsweek Readers' Choice Awards. This recognition comes as a result of a public vote and expert panel review, with Tanganyika standing out among nominees from across the nation and taking the second-place prize.

From August 1941 Charlie Walker, one of the outstanding “characters” of Argonia, will complete his service as a rural mail carrier on Saturday of this week and will retire. On Feb. 1, Mr. Walker completed his 35 years as a carrier, and he celebrated his 65th birthday on August 10.
