Cemetery seeks monetary donations

CHENEY – The board members for Fairview Cemetery in Cheney are seeking donations to help with maintenance costs. In recent years, with lower interest rates and increasing maintenance costs, the cemetery has not generated enough funds to pay for mowing, spraying, and other maintenance needs.
The Fairview Cemetery sits at the south edge of Cheney. Donations are being sought to help cover maintenance and other costs. Contributed photo
