HAYSVILLE – Aging Projects, Inc., which operates the Meals on Wheels program through the Haysville Senior Center, has a great need for volunteers who are available to deliver meals to the homebound seniors in the Haysville community.

Minnesota Lawyer magazine has named former Goddard resident Sarah Jack a 2024 as an “Up & Coming Attorney.” Jack is an associate with Fish & Richardson, an intellectual property law firm with multiple offices in the United States as well as offices in Germany and China.

TSnews CHENEY – Members of the Cheney Chamber of Commerce got updates on all kinds of projects at their monthly meeting last Tuesday. A big new project that the Chamber is sponsoring is the banners for local veterans.

Extention Winter canola – a cool-season broadleaf crop used in cooking oils and renewable fuels – gets planted in Kansas every year around September and harvested in June.

From September 1941 Miss Albertine Johnson and Loren Paxson were united in marriage Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock by Rev. Bertha Sumpter at her home. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Beryl Paxson. The couple will make their home on the farm of Hiram Schon, where Loren will work.
