TSnews CLEARWATER – A twovehicle accident near the Kansas Star Casino claimed the life of a Clearwater Police Department officer over the weekend. Officer Scott Hollingsworth, 26, died when his car was struck in the early hours of Saturday as he headed home from work.

TSnews CONWAY SPRINGS – Members of the Conway Springs City Council gave direction at their meeting last week on several projects in town that could benefit from federal or state grants. The first list of projects was presented by Rose Mary Saunders from Ranson Financial, which has been helping the city with financial guidance on several projects.
