Body Following are next week’s menus for Friendship Meals and Meals on Wheels in both Sedgwick County and Sumner County. A change was made recently, and there are now different menus for Sedgwick County and Sumner County.

Welty named to KSHSAA board

Girl Scouts plant tree

Body TSnews GODDARD – Girls Scouts in Troop 40266 planted a tree as part of an Earth Day celebration on Monday evening at Linear Park in Goddard.

Archers heading to nationals

Body TSnews CLEARWATER – Four Clearwater area youth archers will compete at the end of April in US Western National Tournament, sponsored by the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP). The tournament will be April 26-27 in Sandy, Utah, which is in the Salt Lake City area.

Showcase to features Argonia musicians

Body ARGONIA – High school and junior high school musicians will display their talents at the spring showcase this Monday. The performances will start at 7 p.m. and will be held in the Argonia High School gymnasium.

'Love on a Leash' is Saturday

Body GODDARD – Volunteers with Love on a Leash will bring their furry friends to the Goddard Public Library this Saturday. The event will start at 10 a.m.
