Zula Belle Harding, 96, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many, passed away peacefully on Oct. 1, 2024. 
She was born Nov. 8, 1927, to Lawrence and Edna Weaver in Whiting, Kan. She was married to Dean
Harding on Aug. 3, 1952. They had two children, sons Bill Harding (Jean) of Houston, Texas, and Rob Harding of Atlanta, Ga.

Damian Roger Clutter

Damian Roger Clutter, 28, formerly of Haysville, was killed Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, in Wichita, as a result of a motorcycle accident.

He was born Sept. 7, 1996 at Cheyenne, Wyo., and was the son of Jeremy and Amber (Boatman) Clutter. Damian grew up in Wichita and Haysville, where he attended the public schools and Campus High School.

He had worked for his father’s construction company as a carpenter and for Expert Auto Center as a mechanic.

Elmer and Irene Sheldon Martin, and died on Sept. 23, 2024.

Florence Ann (Curless) Loger

Body

An optimistic and grace-filled woman who loved God, her family and friends with a loving and kind spirit passed from this earth on September 23, 2024. Florence Ann (Curless) Loger was born in Wichita to Stephen and Ivel (Long) Curless Nov. 14, 1929, the third of four children. She was raised near Haysville, and was proud of her family’s farming heritage and strong values centered around faith, honesty, work and education.

Olen L. Taton

Olen L. Taton, 96 of Argonia, passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024, at his daughter’s home near Argonia.

Olen entered this life April 6, 1928, near Argonia, and was the ninth of 10 children born to Emma (Kuhns) and Elmer Taton. He faced a serious bone infection in sixth grade that led doctors to believe he would never walk again. However, with his God-given strength and the support of his devoted older brothers, who never left him behind, Olen not only walked again but thrived. His resilience and tenacity were a testament to his remarkable spirit and positive attitude.

Gwendolyn “Gwen” Tiemeyer

Gwendolyn “Gwen” Tiemeyer, 73, died suddenly, on Monday, July 15, at her home outside Portland, Ore. A private memorial service was held in Mt. Vernon, Kan., on Aug. 17 to remember and celebrate her life.

Gwen was the daughter of Urban and Theresa (Goulart) Tiemeyer. She graduated from Garden Plain High School in 1969.

Dorothy L. Schofield, age 99 of Hamburg, Iowa, passed away on Monday, Sept. 2, 2024 at the Ambassador in Sidney, Iowa

Dorothy Lucille Metz was born on July 6, 1925, in Cheney, the daughter of Charles T. and Rachel (Guthrie) Metz. She attended school in Cheney through the ninth grade and attended school in Garden City, where she graduated in 1943.

Denver Lee Mishler, age 54, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024.

Cremation has taken place. No services are planned.

He is survived by daughters, Madison and Alixandra Mishler of Argonia; step-son, Jonathan Meyer of Goddard; parents, Johnny and Lousina (Tincknell) Mishler of Clearwater; brother, Justin (Ashley) Mishler of Clearwater; and granddaughter, Wrenley Meyer of Goddard.

Nancy Carol (Sloop) Reynolds, age 77, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024.

Celebration of life will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at the First Baptist Church in Clearwater.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Reynolds; parents, Glenn and Mildred Sloop; sister, Barbara Wetter; and grandson, Chance Davidson.
