Body Marvin Ray Kline, 81, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at his home in Milan, where he grew up. He was born on Nov. 8, 1942, in Wellington to Melvin and Maxine (Deffenbaugh) Kline. He attended Milan school for 11 years and graduated from Argonia High School in 1960.

Body Bill Dean Osterhout, 68, of Haysville, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

Body Nondis Fisher, 93, of Shawnee, formerly of Cheney, passed away April 3, 2024. She worked for Southwestern Bell telephone company and was a member of First Baptist Church, Shawnee, Kan. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m., and funeral will be at 11 a.m.

Body Evelyn "Pinky" Dewey, 93, retired Learjet employee, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, surrounded by her family. Pinky and her husband, Ted Duane, were crowned the first homecoming king and queen for Cheney High School, where she graduated from in 1948.

Body Mary Helen Biermann Bergh, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on March 28. Mary's life was one of love, service, and passion for her family, friends and community.

Body Jack Jay Kersenbrock, age 88, passed away on March 18, 2024, at Citizens Medical Center in Colby. He was born on the family farm on Feb. 25, 1936, to Herman “Babe” and Olive (Metzler) Kersenbrock.

Body Jason Lee Nelson, 47, of Wichita, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024. He was born on June 19, 1976, in Manhattan to Jim Nelson and Susan (Downing) Jacobs. Jason married Megan (Kanngiesser) Nelson on July 27, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were married for seven years.

Body Imogene Smith Beat, 95, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born in Anness, Kan., to Walter and Fern Smith on March 28, 1928. She was one of 10 children and the mother of two boys, Gary & Terry Voth.

Body Robert E. St. Clair, formally of Goddard, passed away peaceful on March 6, 2024, at his home in Clarksville, Tenn., after fighting leukemia for three months. He was born in Detroit, Mich., on April 8, 1942, to Robert Elegy Webb, Sr., and Emelene Florence Ward.

Body Anna "Tammy" Tamise Gibson, 65, of Wichita, material logistics agent, died Thursday, March 21, 2024. Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, at Cheney Methodist Church.
